Psychotherapy

People are complex, and it’s my perspective that effective therapy goes beyond what you think and into what sits underneath thoughts – this includes beliefs, body responses, emotions, and the nervous system. This perspective has both been informed and led me to subconscious work, somatic training, neurobiology, and a holistic view on health and wellbeing.

I think of this work as gentle, yet impactful. People are nuanced and there’s not just one way to do this work, and so my approach is integrative and informed by my years of study and personal belief that we all make sense. Reframing and bringing new layers of understanding to the past, so that your present self can take those learnings and grow. In doing so, we can adapt new ways of being, build greater capacity to be with your emotions, and your ability to be with both the difficult and the good.

Using non-pathologizing and empirically-validated techniques including EMDR, Polyvagal theory, Structural Dissociation and Parts Work, we can address trauma, depression, anxiety, PTSD, attachment wounds, grief, issues of self-confidence and worth, and patterns that limit you from feeling like you can fully show up in this world.
